A shed fire at 13763 Gosnell Line has caused $300,000 in damage.
“Station #10 – Orford, with the assistance of Station #11 – Ridgetown were dispatched to a working structure fire at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, July 25,” fire officials say.
“Upon initial arrival crews were confronted with heavy flames from a large drive shed.”
Fire officials said just after 3 p.m. on Thursday that the fire was under control and crews remained on scene.
A Chatham-Kent Fire & Rescue Fire Inspector was on scene as well.
The cause of the blaze is undetermined, fire officials said, adding the approximate loss is $300,000.
