The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to remind the public that the Bluewater International Granfondo (BIG Rides) event is set to take place this Sunday, August 4, 2024, starting at 7 a.m., till approximately 1:30 p.m.
The ride will start and finish at Mike Weir Park in the City of Sarnia.
The Bluewater International Granfondo (BIG Rides) is an annual event in Sarnia-Lambton, Ontario, offering participants a range of routes that vary in distance and difficulty, to cyclist of all skill levels.
This event attracts numerous participants from various regions.
The route features a scenic stretch through Lambton County.
The OPP is asking the motoring public to plan-ahead and allow for extra travel time. Exercise caution, be mindful of increased bicycle traffic, and to share the road safely with cyclists.
