A grand opening is set to take place for the new Walpole Island First Nation Warming Shelter.
“We are proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Walpole Island First Nation Warming Shelter (255 Bridge Rd. Walpole Island) on August 15, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.,” organizers say.
“This new shelter is more than just a building; it’s a symbol of our community’s strength and compassion. Let’s come together to celebrate and show love for our beautiful community! Your presence and support will help build a stronger, more caring community for generations to come!”
Nonperishable food donations can be made at the event or at your later convenience.
