Mrs. Joyce M. Philp, a resident of Sarnia, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the L.H.S.C “University Site”, in London, at the age of 65.
Joyce was born in Sarnia, Ontario and was a daughter of the late Earl and Kathleen (Shepard) Lester.
Beloved wife of Donald Philp.
Loving mother of Angela (Paul) Dumont, Jennifer (Jeff) Scott, Kyle Daye and Jeffery (Jessica) Daye
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Destiny, Nolan, Ashley, Rachel, Natalie, Ryder, Jason, Jaelyn, Jeri and Braelyn.
Kind sister and sister-in-law of Eva (the late Harry) Robertson, the late Douglas (the late Nancy) Lester, the late Lenard (Patty) Lester, the late Kenny (Pat Durby) Lester, Bruce (the late Cathy Gibb) (companion Kim Smith) Lester, Jean (Jim) Stewart and Murray (Mary) Lester. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be missed by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill & Anne Phil and special friends Amanda Ponte and Adam Cook.
Arrangements entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. with the Funeral Service being held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with 1 hour of visiting before service, all from Parkway Pentecostal Church, in Corunna.
Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Sarnia.
