On Saturday, August 24, 2024, Lidia Murru (nee Pisano) went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2024 at the age of 87.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband Cesare (2017) and her daughters Maria Giuseppina and Teresa Giuseppina.
She will be forever remembered as a loving mother of Luisa Murru and Mario (Wendy) Murru, Nonna of Paul (Julie), Samantha (Josh), Josh (Syd), Celia (Nick) and great-Nonna of J.T. and Ty.
Lidia was the last remaining daughter of the late Paolo and Annetta Pisano and has now joined her sisters Maria Assunta and Angela.
She will be fondly thought of by her extended family in Italy.
Lidia’s Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 10:30am with burial at Riverview Cemetery to follow.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
