Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 21, 2023, the man was arrested and charged as a result of an assault investigation in Chatham.
He was released with conditions and a future court date. When the man failed to attend court for a scheduled court appearance a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On September 15, 2024, at 3:03 p.m., the man was located on Baxter Street in Chatham and arrested.
He was transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
He is currently facing the following charges: failing to attend court, assault and two counts of forcible confinement.
