Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:09 p.m., police responded to Park Avenue West in Chatham to investigate concerns of safety.
Officers arrived on the scene and the man fled the residence.
After a short foot chase the man was taken into custody.
The man was wanted on several warrants held by Sarnia Police and Woodstock Police related to Intimate Partner Violence.
The 28-year-old Ontario man was arrested and released to the Sarnia Police Service.
