Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, police received a traffic complaint regarding a truck in the field around Gregory Drive/Orangewood Blvd in Chatham.
Police attended and found the 22-year-old man who had been driving the truck.
The man was arrested and taken to Chatham-Kent Headquarters where he registered 2 ½ times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
The man was charged with Operation While Impaired, Over 80 and Mischief.
The man was released with a future court date of October 21st, 2024.
