Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, at approximately 4:40 p.m., Chatham-Kent Police received information from Sarnia Police that they located an individual in their jurisdiction that had three outstanding warrants with Chatham-Kent Police for four counts of failing to comply with a release order, another warrant for failing to comply with a release order and a bench warrant for failing to attend court, in connection to an uttering threats investigation.
In collaboration with Sarnia Police Service, a 27-year-old man was arrested under the strength of the outstanding warrants, and officers from Chatham-Kent Police attended Sarnia Police Headquarters to take over custody.
The 27-year-old man was arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for processing, and held pending a bail hearing.
