Ontario Agricultural Conferences announce their 2025 conference series ‘Bringing Research to the Farm’

The Ontario Agricultural Conferences (OAgC) are excited to announce their 2025 conference series, “Bringing Research to the Farm.” Designed to enhance agricultural knowledge and practices across Ontario, the series offers three in-person events, along with a fully virtual option to accommodate all attendees.

Participants can attend in-person sessions in Ridgetown, Waterloo, and Kemptville on different dates. Virtual attendees can watch live streamed sessions from Ridgetown and Waterloo. All participants, whether attending in person or virtually, will have access to recorded sessions until March 31, 2025. They will also be able to join interactive TEC Talk Tuesday discussions.

The Southwest Agricultural Conference will take place on January 7 and 8, 2025, at Ridgetown Campus. Attendees will have the opportunity to select from four sessions each hour on a wide range of topics. A two-hour planter clinic will be offered twice daily. Select sessions will be available via live stream for virtual attendees. On January 7, attendees can also enjoy the “Taste Ontario” social event and explore the tradeshow, which will showcase the latest crop production technology. Registration for both in-person and virtual attendance is available at www.southwestagconference.ca.

The Midwest Ag Conference is scheduled for January 17, 2025, at RIM Park in Waterloo. This conference will focus on precision agriculture, highlighting new advancements that add value to farming operations. A tradeshow and engaging discussions are planned, with all sessions streamed live for virtual participants. Registration can be completed at www.heartlandsoilcrop.org/mwac.

The Eastern Ontario Crop Conference will be held on January 21, 2025, at Kemptville Campus. This event will offer two concurrent sessions each hour, with a particular focus on issues specific to eastern Ontario. Attendees will also have ample opportunity to network through the vibrant tradeshow and hallway discussions. Registration is available for in-person or on-demand access at www.eocc.eastontcropconference.ca.

All in-person sessions will be recorded and made available for on-demand viewing. TEC Talk Tuesdays will return, giving participants a chance to engage with conference speakers in live discussions on Tuesday evenings in January and February. Additional details will be shared via email.

Registration opens on November 1, 2024, and early registration is encouraged due to limited capacity for in-person events. Follow @OAgC25 on Twitter for updates. This year’s conference series promises to be the best yet, offering attendees the chance to learn and engage with top growers and researchers.
