‘River of Lights’ set to brighten up downtown Wallaceburg once again, preparations underway for Frost Fest on November 21

‘River of Lights’ is set to brighten up downtown Wallaceburg once again this holiday season.

Also, preparations are underway for Frost Fest, which is taking place on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Jessica D’Felio, from the River of Lights committee, told the Sydenham Current they are still seeking volunteers to add to the committee or to help with Frost Fest.

D’Felio says the River of Lights team will be adding to the downtown winter lighting that was started last year.

People will notice lit up snowflakes all the way down James Street in downtown Wallaceburg.

D’Felio said they will also be adding more winter flags, featuring creations by local artists.

If anyone would like to donate, they can email river.of.lights.wallaceburg@gmail.com.

D’Felio said the lights will be turned on at Frost Fest on November 21.

Over 30 local vendors will be open with specials and there will also be horse and carriage rides at Frost Fest.

The vendor applications are available online.

Dana Haggith caught up with D’Felio for an interview. Listen, below:
