Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On October 18, 2024, at approximately 12:19 p.m., police received a report of an active break and enter into a residence on Colborne Street in Chatham.
Officers immediately attended to the residence and located a male suspect still inside the dwelling, who attempted to flee from police upon discovery.
The male was taken into custody a short distance away and arrested for Break and Enter.
The 39-year-old Blenheim man was ultimately transported to police headquarters and held in custody pending a show cause bail hearing.
