The Wallaceburg Legion Branch 18 kicked off their 2024 Poppy Campaign on Friday, October 25, 2024.
A flag raising ceremony was held in downtown Wallaceburg at the Municipal Centre to mark the occasion.
Mike Hindmarsh, from the Legion, told the Sydenham Current volunteers are needed to sell poppies leading up to Remembrance Day.
Hindmarsh also discusses the upcoming ceremonies taking place on Walpole Island on November 8, 2024 and in Wallaceburg on November 11, 2024.
