OPP officials allege: On November 2, 2024, shorty after 11:15 p.m., a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting traffic enforcement in the westbound lanes of Highway 402 in Plympton-Wyoming.
The officer observed a vehicle travelling at what appeared to be a high rate of speed, to which a traffic stop was initiated.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old of California, was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following offence: Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
The driver was further issued a 30-day driver’s licence suspension, and the motor vehicle has been impounded for a period of 14 days.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on December 5, 2024.
