The Dresden Czech Hall vino brani committee wants to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended our recent 2024 vino brani dinner and dance! It was certainly a celebration of our Czechoslovakian food and heritage! I would like to thank my kitchen staff: Joanne Bartosek, Sue and Rick Piacek, Patti Irwin, John Timperly, Carolyn Yankovitch, Bernadette Johnston, Laurel and Brian Cammaert, Mallory Hawkin, Mackenzie and Haley, the young ladies from the Piacek and Yankovitch families that helped to clear dishes, my sister Sue Anderson for the wonderful cream rolls, and my daughter Cindy Kominek for her delicious apple dessert. A very special thanks to Mike Yankovitch who has his heart set on promoting and maintaining our Slovak and Moravian culture. Also to Steve Zruna who made the most delicious tomato gravy for the knedlicky! Special thanks to my old buddies from our band, the Royales! Paul, Kevin, Ed…we have been on this musical journey for many, many years! Thank you!!! And lastly, to my lovely wife Marion, who supports and believes in me when I get a little bit crazy trying to keep our Czech traditions alive! Dekuji vam!
