Frost Fest, taking place on November 21, 2024 in downtown Walaceburg, has grown since the last time Sydenham Current spoke with Jessica D’Felio, of the River Of Lights committee.
Listen to the interview with D’Felio and Dana Haggith, below:
The event is featuring nearly 40 vendors alongside downtown businesses staying open late with special deals for visitors.
Festivities will kick off with the traditional lighting ceremony at 6 p.m., where attendees can also look forward to the announcement of the winners of the coloring contest.
The contest, open to three age groups (ages 2-4, 5-8, and 9-12), offers children a chance to get creative.
Coloring sheets can be picked up at Re:Find Charity Thrift Shoppe or the CK Public Library’s Wallaceburg branch.
In addition to shopping and special offers, families can enjoy a visit with Mrs. Claus at the library starting at 6 p.m.
Horse and carriage rides down James Street will add to the festive atmosphere, along with a variety of food options to enjoy.
Frost Fest continues to expand, bringing together the community for a night of holiday cheer and local shopping.
