Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 3:30 a.m. a local business on Longwoods road Thamesville had their compound entered and a company vehicle taken. A citizen had seen a post on Facebook about the theft.
While driving in the Dresden area a white truck was observed in a field at 8:30 p.m. and police were contacted.
It was confirmed that it was the stolen truck from earlier in the day.
The registered owners were contacted and retrieved the truck.
