Outsanding warrants executed in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On November 23, 2024 a suspicious male complaint was received at 10:41 p.m. in the area of Thames Street in Chatham.  

A man was located and provided a false name when speaking with officers. 

It was found that the man had two outstanding warrants. 

The man was placed under arrest and resisted the officers in attempt to leave.

A 44-year-old Chatham man was charged with obstruct police and resist.  

The man was arrested on outstanding warrants and held for bail based on the previous and new charges.
