OPP officials allege: One individual has been taken to hospital after a single vehicle collision involving an ATV in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
On Thursday December 19, 2024, at approximately 4:18 p.m., members from the Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment with the assistance of Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Lakeshore Fire Rescue responded to a single ATV collision on Lakeshore Road 302.
The lone ATV rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Lakeshore Road 302 was closed for several hours between Rochester Townline Road and Comber Sideroad but has since been reopened.
The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team is assisting Lakeshore Detachment with the investigation.
