Catholic School Board celebrates holiday season at Glasstown Brewery in Wallaceburg, raises funds for St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank

On Friday, December 13, St. Clair Catholic hosted its year-end staff celebration at Glasstown Brewery, located just steps away from the Catholic Education Centre in Wallaceburg.

The brewery generously donated its space, fostering a spirit of partnership and community for the holiday season.

The event featured Glasstown’s excellent food and drinks, along with a 50/50 raffle and prize raffles with contributions from Board leadership.

Together, staff raised $1,010 for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, supporting local families in need.

“We are so fortunate to celebrate as a St. Clair Catholic family in such a wonderful setting right here in our own neighbourhood,” said Scott Johnson, Director of Education, in a media release.

“It’s always a joy to come together in celebration, especially when we can also give back to those who need it most.”

St. Clair Catholic extends heartfelt thanks to Glasstown Brewery for their hospitality and generosity, which made the event a meaningful success.

The Board hopes to make this festive gathering an annual tradition in Wallaceburg.
