The Chatham-Kent Museum and Thames Art Gallery are closed December 25-26, and January 1 and is open on December 27, 28, 29, January 2, 3, 4, and 5.
ARTSpace is closed December 25-26, and January 1 and is open on December 27, 28, January 2, 3, and 4.
The Milner Heritage House and Ridge House Museum are now closed for the season.
Cemetery Operations: Cemeteries staff will be available on call for funeral homes that need at-need lot sales or internment orders.
CK Public Health: CK Public Health offices will be closed from noon on December 24 to December 26 as well as on January 1. Essential after-hours Public Health services are available by calling 1-866-446-8207. Due to the Public Health lab schedule, acceptance of well water samples will be paused at 11am on December 23 until regular office hours resume on January 2.
EarlyON: All EarlyON Centres will be closed December 23 to January 1, reopening on January 2, 2025, except for Chatham. Chatham Toddler Time will take place on December 23 and 30, and Chatham Drop-In will take place on December 27 and 28.
Emergency Services: Police, Fire, and Ambulance are operational 24 hours a day, every day, and are accessible by dialing “911” for emergency calls only. The Fire Administration office will be closed on December 25-26, re-opening on Friday, December 27. The office will be closed as of 12pm on December 31 to January 1st and re-opening on Thursday, January 2 at 8:30am.
Employment & Social Services: Employment & Social Services will be closed at noon on December 24 and 31 and closed December 25-26, reopening Friday, December 27. The office will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, reopening Thursday, January 2, 2025. The Homeless Response Line at 519-354-6628 is available 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week for homeless emergencies within Chatham-Kent.
Entegrus: Entegrus will be closed December 25 – January 1, re-opening on January 2. The emergency call number is 519-352-6300.
Fleet Services: Fleet Services will be closed on December 24-26 and January 1.
Housing Services: Housing Services will be closed December 25-26, reopening December 27. The office will be closed on January 1, reopening on Thursday, January 2. For homeless emergencies please contact the Homeless Response Line at 519-354-6628.
Leaf and Yard Depots: The Chatham Depot will be closed December 25-26 and January 1.
Libraries: All branches of the Chatham-Kent Public Library will be closed December 24, 25, 26, December 31, and January 1, 2025. Virtual Services are available 24/7 at www.ckpl.ca. CKPL branches return to regular hours on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Pools: Pools will be closed December 24-26, 31, and January 1. Please visit www.Chatham-Kent.ca/recreation for more information.
Provincial Offences Court: Closed to the public at noon on December 24 and 31 and closed December 25-26 and January 1 but phones will be answered on December 27. Regular business hours 8:30am – 4:30pm will resume on January 2. Please note that during office closures fines can continue to be paid online at www.paytickets.ca.
Public Utilities Commission: The PUC will be closed December 23-27 and January 1 for walk-in appointments.
Public Works: Administrative offices will be closed December 24-26, and January 1. Road and Water/Wastewater services will be available for emergency service December 24-26, and January 1, otherwise operating as normal.
RIDE CK: All Ride CK Transit services will be closed December 25, 26 and January 1.
Riverview Gardens: Reception and administrative offices will be closed December 25-26, and January 1. Nursing staff can be reached 24/7 by calling 519-352-4823.
Service Ontario: Both the Chatham and Dresden locations will be open until noon on December 24 and 31 and closed on December 25-26, and January 1.
Tourism: CK Tourism will be closed December 25 to January 1, 2025. To access visitor information at any time, please go to www.visitck.ca.
Transfer Stations: All Transfer Stations will be closed December 25, 26, and January 1.
Waste and Recycling: Curbside garbage and recycling collection will be delayed by one day for the weeks of December 23 and December 30. Collections scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will occur one day later due to the holidays (December 25 and January 1).
