Some healthcare services offered at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will be altered over the holiday season.
Throughout the holidays, outpatient diagnostic tests will take place. Patients with scheduled diagnostic tests are advised to attend their appointments. These departments will also be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients and emergencies.
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will not be available from December 23 to December 27, 2024, or January 1, 2025, and will resume services on January 2, 2025. This department will be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients.
The Musculoskeletal Rapid Assessment Clinic at the Chatham Site will be closed December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025, and will resume services on January 6, 2025.
The TIA and CAD clinics will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
The Diabetes Education Centre will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
Pulmonary Function Lab, Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will be closed from December 25, 2024, up to and including January 1, 2025.
The Chatham-Kent Outpatient Mental Health and Addictions Program will be closed on December 25, December 26, 2024, and January 1, 2025. Please note on December 24 and 31, 2024 the office will close at 4 p.m. The Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine (RAAM) clinic, which operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, will be open on Monday, December 23, closed on Wednesday, December 25 and open on Friday, December 27. The RAAM will close again on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, and resume regular operations on Friday, January 3, 2025. The RAAM Clinic located at the Wallaceburg Site, which operates every Tuesday, will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Outpatient Lab Services will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2024. The Lab will close again on January 1, 2025, and will reopen on January 2, 2025.
The Pre-Surgical Screening Department will be closed on December 24 and 25, 2024, and December 26, 2024. It will reopen on December 27, 30, and 31, 2024 and close again on January 1, 2025. The department will resume regular operations on January 2, 2025.
The Patient Appointment Office will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
Health Records will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
Elston Pharmacy, located at the Chatham Site, will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2024. The Pharmacy will be open on December 27, 30 and 31, 2024. The Pharmacy will close again on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, and return to regular business hours on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
The Ambulatory Care Department at both Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will be closed on December 25, December 26, 2024, and January 1, 2025.
The Oncology Department will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
The Business Office and Cashier’s Office will be closed on December 25, December 26, 2024, and January 1, 2025. Please note there are two bill changers in the building to accommodate coin change.
Hemodialysis Care will be closed on December 25, 2024, and January 1, 2025. The department will be open on Sunday, December 22, 2024, and Sunday, December 29, 2025, to accommodate patient needs.
The Emergency Departments at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites are open 24 hours daily.
