Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Thursday December 26, 2024, shortly after 11:00am, the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a call for service regarding the theft of a motor vehicle.
Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the owner of the vehicle identifying the vehicles description.
Less than 30 minutes after the initial call for service, Police received another call regarding a vehicle that was on fire in the east side of Chatham.
Upon further investigation it was determined that the vehicle on fire was one in the same as the vehicle that was taken shortly after 11:00am.
