A threatening voicemail left with Entegrus led to a response from the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
“Entegrus would like to take this opportunity to remind the public that we take threats to our personal safety extremely seriously,” Entegrus officials posted on social media on Tuesday afternoon, February 11, 2025.
“(On Monday) afternoon, one of our employees received a threatening voicemail, as is our policy we immediately contacted authorities. The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded swiftly and professionally, ensuring the safety of everyone on-site.”
Entegrus officials added: “We appreciate and thank the Chatham-Kent Police Service for their prompt and thorough response.”
The police have not issued any details on the situation at this point.
