All school buses with the Lambton-Kent District School Board and the St. Clair Catholic District School Board are cancelled for the day on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
All schools are open for the day for both school boards.
Bkejwanong Kinomaagewgamig on Walpole Island is closed for the day.
“Due to the snow covered roads on Walpole Island and surrounding communities, BK & AK will be closed on Thursday, February 13 to ensure the safety of all staff and students,” Walpole school officials said on social media.
“We will reopen on Friday, February 14 – Valentine’s Day!”
Wallaceburg Christian School is also closed for the day.
“Weather conditions warrant the closure of school,” Wallaceburg Christian School officials said on social media.
“For everyone’s safety, school is closed today.”
