Failing to attend court and uttering threats in Wallaceburg, mischief in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 20, 2025, at approximately 10:27 a.m., a 50-year-old Wallaceburg man, the subject of three warrants including an endorsed warrant for failing to attend court for a previous drug offence charge, was located by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. As a result of a bail hearing, he was remanded into custody at Southwest Regional Detention Centre. His next court appearance is February 25, 2025.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 20, 2025, at approximately 4:10 p.m., a 19-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Serviced for uttering threats to case death or bodily harm towards an officer. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he is currently being held for bail.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 20, 2025, at approximately 4:10 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service received several calls for service of a tenant causing a disturbance at a multi-unit residential building on Richmond Street, Chatham. A 33-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with mischief. He was released with a future court date.
