Traffic stop in Forest leads to multiple charges

OPP officials allege: A suspended driver faces multiple charges after being stopped on Main Street in Forest.

On February 23, 2025, at approximately 2:37 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in the town of Forest.

As a result of the investigation, 41-year-old of Glencoe was charged under the Highway Traffic Act and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with the following offences:

– Driving while under suspension (two counts)

– Use plate not authorized for vehicle

– Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner

– Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia at a later date.
