Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 12, 2025, at approximately 5:45 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police service responded to a report of assault.
A 34-year-old male from Chatham was asked to leave a local business in Tilbury.
Instead, he assaulted a 57-year-old male from Tilbury by throwing a chair at him.
The victim sustained minor injuries from the chair.
Subsequently, the accused was arrested and charged with one count of assault and one count of assault with a weapon.
He was released with a future court date of April 7, 2025
