OPP officials allege: On March 26, 2025, shortly after 3 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Emergency Medical Services, and Sarnia Fire Rescue Services, responded to a collision involving two tractor-trailers in the westbound lanes of Highway 402 in Sarnia.
The driver and passenger of one of the tractor-trailers were transported to hospital.
Both individuals’ injuries are deemed non-life threatening.
As a result of the collision, Highway 402 westbound is closed between Indian Road and Christina Street.
Highway 402 eastbound is closed between Indian Road and Front Street.
These closures are expected to remain closed for several hours to facilitate the removal of vehicles and cleanup.
The investigation is ongoing.
