Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 17, 2025, at approximately 16:46 hrs, Chatham-Kent Police responded to a disturbance at a residential unit in Chatham.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male from Chatham walking away from the front of the residence.
Investigations revealed that the male had breached his probation conditions by being at the location, which he was ordered to avoid due to prior convictions related to uttering threats and assault.
The individual attempted to force entry by kicking the front door, further violating the terms of his probation.
He was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and was released with a scheduled future court date of May 20, 2025.
