The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is hosting a public meeting on Monday, May 5 to discuss the proposed landfill just outside of Dresden.
Municipal officials say the event will take place at 6 p.m. at the Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre located at 1212 North Street in Dresden.
In attendance will be Municipal staff along with expert consultants retained by the municipality.
Ward Councillors Jamie McGrail and Rhonda Jubenville and other members of Council will also be in attendance.
This meeting will allow for information to be shared on the current situation and will give Dresden residents, as well as interested Chatham-Kent residents, an opportunity to ask questions and have their voices heard in a public forum.
