Sarnia Police Service officials allege: Sarnia Police have laid numerous firearms and drug-related charges following a raid at a Beaver Circle home in Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
Acting on a warrant, officers from the Major Case Action Team, alongside tactical, K9, and intelligence units, executed the search on May 8, seizing more than $30,000 in cash and multiple firearms, including a handgun and a rifle, along with various rounds of ammunition.
All weapons and ammunition were found to be improperly stored.
Three residents were taken into custody and face multiple charges related to unauthorized possession of firearms, careless storage, and possession of prohibited or restricted weapons.
One individual is also charged with breaching prior court orders and possessing firearms in violation of a prohibition order.
The investigation remains ongoing.
