Suddenly on Thursday, May 15, 2025, Mr. Kim Joseph Lalonde, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 67.
Kim was born and raised in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Gus and Doris (Lewis) Lalonde. Beloved husband of Cherrie (nee Rabideau) Lalonde. Loving father of B.J. (Leanne) Charpentier and Chris (Ariel) Lalonde. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Alanna, Callie, Jesse, Maren, Alycia, Mila and Bowen. Kind brother of Gary “Gus” (Cathy) Lalonde, Ann Marie (Pete) Ross and the late Margaret Lalonde.
Kim loved to fish and was a devoted Montreal Canadiens Fan. His pride and joy were his grandkids, he always loved to watch his children and grandchildren play sports whenever he could.
The late Kim Lalonde rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Following his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
