With great sadness we say goodbye to Floyd Clifton Ritchie who passed away surround by his family on May 15, 2025 at the age of 75. He will be forever loved by his wife Judith (Mallette) and his children Tracey (Aaron) Jardine, Tim Ritchie (Leslee), Craig (Stacey) Ritchie, Colleen (Shane) Fraleigh.
Floyd was a proud grandpa and will be cherished by Jack, Evan, Kyra, Kayleigh, Alana, Breana, Jared, Brody, Owen and Alyssa.
Son of the late Earl and Phyliss Ritchie and dear brother to Faye Richmond (the late Robert). Son in law of the late Stanley and Dorothy Mallette and dear brother-in-law of Larry (Brenda), Brian (Marcia), Wayne (Christine) and the late Gary (Linda). Floyd will be remembered fondly by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was well known around the area as the proud owner and operator of Floyd Ritchie Trucking.
His family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to the Palliative Care Team at Bluewater Health and Dr. Lilly, Dr. Kim and Jody.
Family and Friends are invited for memorial visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 4-7pm.
His service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 11am. Following services he will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
