Rollover crash in Lambton County leads to charges

OPP officials allege: One individual is charged following a single-vehicle collision in Warwick Township.

On June 8, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and the Township of Warwick Fire & Rescue Department, responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 402 westbound, west of Nauvoo Road, Warwick Township.

Early investigation revealed the vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch, and rolled.

As a result of the collision, the passenger of the vehicle was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

A 21-year-old of Woodstock has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Careless Driving.

Highway 402 westbound was reduced to one lane for several hours to allow for cleanup and investigation. All lanes have since reopened.
