Second arrest made stemming from May search warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 10, 2025, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in connection to a road rage incident that occurred in late May.

As a result, officers seized drugs, ammunition prohibited weapons, and a significant quantity of currency.

A 32-year-old male from Chatham was arrested and is facing multiple charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and unauthorized possession of prohibited weapons. He was released with a future court date scheduled for July 24, 2025.

On June 13, 2025, 29-year-old female from Chatham voluntarily turned herself in at the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters in connection with the same incident.

The individual was arrested as a co-accused and was charged with the following offences:

– Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Other Drugs

– Possession of Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Cocaine

– Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x2

The accused was released with a future court date scheduled for July 17, 2025.
