Outstanding warrant executed in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 10, 2023, the Chatham-Kent Police Service conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle with attached plates confirmed to be stolen.

The driver, a 32-year-old male from Chatham, was found to be the subject of three active driving suspensions and was charged with Operation While Prohibited.

On May 2, 2025, while on route to a Rondeau residence for an investigation involving the same individual, officers observed the male operating a motor vehicle despite being prohibited by court order.

A traffic stop was conducted, and he was arrested and charged with the following:

– Operation While Prohibited

He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and was released with a scheduled court date of June 6, 2025.

After failing to attend court as required, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The individual was subsequently; charged with the following:

– Failure to Attend Court

On June 9,2025, the individual failed to attend court again, resulting in an additional charge of:

– Failure to Attend Court

A warrant was also issued for his arrest.

On June 19, 2025, at approximately 7:78 p.m. the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of an unwanted person in Chatham.

Upon investigation, the same individual from the prior case was located and found to have multiple outstanding unendorsed warrants for failing to attend court on multiple occasions.

He was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where, he is currently being held for bail.
