Dorothy Gay Graber, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the age of 76.
Beloved spouse of Robert Soney. Loving mother to Ron Soney. Dear grandmother of Waawyaase (Taylor Jackson), Evangelo and Robert A. Soney. She is reunited with her adopted parents Paul Payne and Ravina White. Sister of Butch and the late Ron Payne. She will be missed by her dear friend Debb Sands. Dorothy was an accomplished florist for many years at Viviano Flower Shop in Utica Michigan. She was a talented artist who loved passing on her knowledge of crafting to younger generations.
Family and Friends are invited to Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 5 – 7 PM on Wednesday, July 2. Her funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 3 at 11am followed by burial at Highbanks cemetery.
