The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18 in Wallaceburg is inviting the community to take part in a St. Patrick’s Day celebration later this month.
The event is scheduled for March 17 starting at 11 a.m. at the Legion and will feature a festive lunch and activities for attendees.
Organizers say a $5 lunch will include cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes and a roll. The celebration will also include drink specials, lucky draws and an opportunity for residents to gather and enjoy the holiday together.
The Legion is encouraging community members to come out and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and “the luck of the Irish” with friends and neighbours.
