Wallaceburg man arrested on multiple charges, including intimate partner violence

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 27-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested July 7 in connection with threats made toward a 26-year-old Chatham man on June 28, 2025.

Chatham-Kent Police located the accused around 7:05 p.m. and took him into custody. He was also wanted on several outstanding warrants related to intimate partner violence and uttering threats.

The man faces multiple charges, including assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, assault by choking, mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, and assault.

He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
