Police charge Wallaceburg man with impaired driving

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Wallaceburg police have charged a man with impaired driving after a vehicle was reported driving erratically on Fraser Street.

Officers located the vehicle at a marina and observed signs of impairment in the driver.

He was taken to police headquarters, where tests showed a blood alcohol concentration of 150 mg per 100 mL of blood—nearly twice the legal limit.

The man was charged and released with a court date scheduled for July 30.
