Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday, July 19, 2025, at approximately 5:35 p.m., emergency services responded to a single motor vehicle collision on River Line between Communication Road and Harwich Road within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
This motor vehicle collision involved a motorcycle being operated by a lone occupant, a 38-year- old male from Leamington, Ontario.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Chatham- Kent Health Alliance – Public General Hospital and was subsequently transferred to Windsor Regional Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Due to the nature of the injuries, the Traffic Management Unit was called in to continue the investigation.
The roadway remained closed for several hours but has since reopened to the public.
