Bomb threat in Wallaceburg leads to an arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 28, 2025, at approximately 9:19 a.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a bomb threat on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.

Officers quickly attended the scene, secured the area and conducted a thorough investigation.

A 50-year-old male from Chatham-Kent has been arrested in connection with the incident.

There is no threat to public safety at this time.
