Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 27, 2025, at approximately 3:10 a.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of theft on Sparks Drive Chatham.
A complainant observed a 29-year-old male suspect from Chatham removing an air conditioning unit and fled the scene on a bicycle pulling trailer.
A short time later, police located a male matching the suspect’s description in possession of the stolen property. The individual was arrested for the following:
– Theft and Possession Under $5,000.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a scheduled future court date of September 2, 2025.
