Russell Gary Badder of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully in Chatham on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the age of 84.
Gary was the son of the late Russell & Rachel (Turrell) Badder. Beloved husband of Monique Erma ‘Monica’ Badder (nee Doom).
Loving father of Mark (Laurie), Dave (Mary Beth) and the late Michael (Lori).
He will be missed by his grandchildren Eric (Ashley), Andrea (Cody), Mitchell, Kris (Kristen), Brittany (Kendall), Kyle (Meghan), Emma and many great grandchildren. Brother of the late Darlene Badder.
Son-in-law of Irma Doom and brother-in-law of Marlene Roberts (Joe).
Gary had retired as a group leader from Siemans in Chatham.
To Gary, the family bond was the most important value in life and he truly enjoyed his grandchildren following his retirement.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday, August 1 at 11:30 with visiting prior, from 10 – 11:15.
