Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On August 11th, 2025, police were called to a domestic disturbance at an address in the north end of Chatham involving an adult female, aged 58, and an adult male, aged 59, who have been in a long-term cohabitating relationship.
The incident escalated during a verbal argument, leading to an assault.
The accused contacted the police following the altercation.
Officers arrived, investigated and arrested the 58-year-old woman for assault.
She was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date of September 22, 2025.
