Drugs seized, two men arrested at Sarnia motel

Sarnia Police Service officials allege: Two men were arrested and a quantity of drugs seized after police spotted suspicious activity in a motel parking lot on London Line Wednesday morning.

Police say uniformed officers approached the men around 10 a.m. and determined both were wanted on arrest warrants — one by London police and the other by Windsor police.

During a search, officers found fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone pills, cash, small baggies and cellphones. The seized drugs are valued at about $3,400.

A 27-year-old man from London, who has no fixed address, was turned over to London police in connection with robbery, probation and fingerprint-related charges.

The second man, 34, also of no fixed address, remains in custody in Sarnia facing drug trafficking and other charges.

Police say efforts to combat drug trafficking in the community are continuing and urge anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
