Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Chatham-Kent man is facing charges after a break and enter at a commercial building in Wallaceburg.
Police say they were called to King Street on Friday morning after a suspect forced entry into a storage container and removed items. Surveillance footage identified a man, who police say fled on foot when officers attended a Wallaceburg residence.
The following day, officers located and arrested the suspect, a 46-year-old from Chatham-Kent. He is charged with break and enter and commit theft over $5,000, theft under $5,000, and possession of property under $5,000.
He was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where he is being held for bail.
