Lambton OPP officers welcomed community members and veterans Wednesday for the 2025 Lambton OPP Veterans Day barbecue.
Police said the annual event is an opportunity to honour the service and sacrifices of veterans while bringing the community together over food and conversation. The gathering featured support from local partners, including the St. Clair Township Fire Department, which provided aerial rides, and representatives from Wounded Warriors Canada, who attended to show continued support for veterans.
“It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and enjoy a meal together,” Lambton OPP said in a statement, adding that a great time was had by all. The Canadian Coast Guard was also among those who took part.
Police said they are already looking forward to hosting the event again next year.
