Lambton OPP officials allege: A traffic stop as part of Operation Safe Approach results in charges.
On August 24, 2025, shortly after 4:30 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team, conducted a traffic stop on a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) on Highway 402 westbound in Sarnia.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old of Kitchener, was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:
– Fail to properly record duty status changes
– Unnecessary slow driving
